TabTrade Overview - The Good and the Catch

The Broker - What It Is

TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

That last detail matters. It means the founder has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is broad.

The Software

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That should round things out once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Combine that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Here is the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
